Front turn signal issue

I’ve got a 2004 Escalade over the winter I switched the front turn signals to LED using and LED flasher, they worked great. I had the driver side 194 go out so I replaced it and noticed that when the driver side turn signal is on the 194 on the other side flashes too same thing if I have the passenger turn signal on, and the other weird thing is LED’s only work one way now it doesn’t matter which way you put it in, it works either way, but if you had the headlights on the turns work how the should and with the truck off there is no power to any of the turn signals, would a bad turn signal flasher cause this? Or any other ideas what it could be?
