Front window tint (plus door trim removal)

Found this video in my weekly search of 2022 Suburban videos on Youtube. I thought it was a pretty decent video that shows the look of a High Country with front windows tinted and also shows how to remove the door trim (hopefully nobody needs to do that for service until many years down the road on this generation)!

Why would they have to take the door trim off? I haven't had my windows tinted yet, but I've blacked out all of my vehicles and never seen anything like this had to be done.

Pretty weird. Seems like they're overcomplicating an easy job to gain a tiny bit more coverage. Had mine tinted and it was quick and easy 30 minutes and done
