Hey TYF, I have a few questions about the front windshield getting tinted. Did the rear view mirror had to be removed? and did any of the water get in to the dash broad and cause any damage? Thinking about getting 35% tint on the front windshield

thanks

yes you will have to remove the rear view mirror and yes you will get a bit of water on dash but nothing to worry about, are you planning on doing the tint job yourself? have you done a windshield before?

I never did any window tinting but apears to be kinda easy. I know some water is going to get on the dash but my thing is getting in the dash and messing something up.

you won't be using that much water to mess something up so you good on that, what you need to worry about is learning how tint looks easy on side windows but the windshield is a whole different story. that front is a ***** to tint if you dont know what you are doing you need to learn how to shrink the tint because is curved at the ends go to youtube and search how to heat shrink window tint, i have done it and spent like 100 roll of tint on the front hit me up if you need more advise
