Fuel door spring replacement

Has anyone on here changed the fuel door spring on there hoe? I'll be attempting it this weekend just wondering if there is anything I should look out for.

I haven't but I am needing the same thing done. It looks as though the spring for the door is about 8 bucks on eBay. Just didn't know if it was much to it.

The spring came in the mail yesterday and I'll attempt it soon and I'll document it

Well I pulled off the door today and all I did was remove the 2 bolts holding the door on and remove the 2 bolts holding the plastic on. As you can see the spring is fine but it's my door hinge that broke.

Nice thing about NBS is its bolted in for easy quick fix. NNBS are riveted which sucks.
