Fuel Filter Question ???

My mechanic told me my fuel filter looks like the original that came on the truck from the factory.

I went online and ordered a Bosch fuel filter and when it came in the mail, there was a sticker on it that read, "Low Torque Only". I've never seen this before and I was curious WTF it means? Can I use this filter? Also, the filter seems a bit larger than the stock fuel filter.

If anyone has some insight that would be great.

Sub'd to get the answer on this too.

The only thing I could think of would be reattaching the fuel lines to the filter. Normal specs call for 20 ft.lbs. for both the front & rear fuel feed lines.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. . . . . I just want to know if I can safely use this filter or is this the wrong application for something that is street/ Daily Driven?

I think by "Low torque" it meant in regards to the torque used to tighten the fuel line nut onto the filter. The larger size is just probably for extra filtering capacity from the manufacturer, you should be fine. do a google search and verify the part number if you arent sure if you got the right one or not or post the part number here. is this the same filter and part number?

if it is in fact larger than youre going to have to get rid of that bracket that holds it in place. nice buy on the bosch. if i didnt have more than a 1/4mil on mine than i would get nice parts for it.
