unknown at this time.
It has been discussed here before on what may cause it with no real definitive answer but I think the general consensus is to replace the gauge itself for which you may have to find an instrument cluster repair facility to have just that component done.

it is likely the fuel level sensor which is in the tank attached to the fuel pump, its a fairly common problem with multiple gm models mainly the trailblazer

Mine is doing the same thing, vibrating and it looks blurry

....right after I had the fuel pump and sender replaced. Took it back and they are gonna replace it again.

Ya, replaced my pump last week and my needle is all over the place. The guy at the parts store told me to make sure my ground is good. Really?

Just had the shop replace it again today. This time they said it was a Delphi, and they yanked the new chinese one out.
Still the exact same problem. So in my case it is not the sender.

I am going to unplug the harness and measure the voltage from the pcm and see if there is something wrong after I check the grounds.

For the buzzing:
Gauge,Gauge,Gauge,Gauge,Gauge,Gauge,Gauge,
Gauge,Gauge,Gauge,Gauge,Gauge,Gauge, aaaand Gauge.

Yeah I know....the funny part from a trouble shooting angle is that it started doing it immediately after the fuel pump and sender replacement.
