If my fuel gauge gets anywhere even close to 1/4 tank it will not start. Its done this ever since I owned it in 2006 and I have always just maintained a decent fuel level. But, I'm fairly certain that it will continue to drive below 1/4 tank on the gauge if I recall correctly from some long range trips awhile back, it just won't start. I've been stuck a few times and when I dump a gallon or two of gas in it will start right up. Once when stuck I rocked the vehicle back and forth in park for a minute or two and heard fuel sloshing around and it started up. Any ideas?
