Hi all,
Went to change out the fuel filter today and noticed the fuel line nuts are pretty damn rusty. One broke free, but the other is basically stripped. It is at the point that I am not really willing to mess with anymore until I get some advice. Can you replace those nuts on the fuel line? Or am I looking at replacing fuel lines? Guess I should mention that I have a 2000 tahoe LT 4wd, 5.3L. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Yeah, I figured I could take the grips to it, but this is something that I am going to have to deal with for years (hopefully). Just got the rig and I don't want to keep using the grips on it everytime I change the filter. Is that even realistic? I am thinking the nut is going to be shredded?? Guess I am looking at a longer term solution to the problem. Everything is together now, just tightened the nut that broke free, no leaks, so I am rolling. This ride won't be a daily driver until November when we give the leaser back. Trying to get everything in order before then. Thanks again for the thoughts.
