Fuel pressure regulator

Can anyone help me where I can find the fuel pressure regulator on my 99 yukon?

It's the big black box in the middle...you can see the two fuel line inputs on the left.

Honestly, if your going in there to replace it, consider upgrading to MPFI.

Thats why I couldn't find it, I thought it looked like a small doorbell, thanks. What's the difference?

I think that small doorbell is where you can screw on a fuel pressure gauge. I think the reading should be somewhere between 51-64psi? Sunlitcomet would know.

Man, there are LOTS of threads here describing the difference. Basically after at least a decade of running, the poppets(poor man's injector) get clogged. The spray pattern is no longer optimum, all around general loss of performance. Upgrading to the MPFI brings in new actual injectors and increases overall performance by virtue of being clean and not worn out.

PLEASE upgrade to MPFI, your regulator is so old and decrepit by now it's not worth saving. Buying a new injector costs about $50, 8 cylinders x$50=$400, which is the same price as the MPFI, which includes all the parts for a brand new fuel injection system.

Plus, it'll run a billion times better.
