I have had 3 fuel pump failiure since i bought my yukon xl. First pump was in when i bought it. Bought an acdelco pump on ebay. Was in my car 14 months and less than 10000 km. Broke and i got a new ac delco. Mounted dec -16 broke mars -17. Warranty 1 year seller wont give me a new pump cause i dont live in The states. Have changed fuel filter everything time and cleaned tank. Never driven under 1/4 of fuel lever. What can be the problem? I can gladly name the company too for a warning to other dont buy their stuff they dont stand for their warranty claims.

Sounds about right, fuel pumps are tricky things sometimes with these chevys, especially your year model. Go with a different manufacture. In the past I have installed the ACDelco fuel pumps and they ended up being dead on arrival. If that was the customers first choice I would always test the pump before installing it into the tank and finishing the job. I would say it was a 50/50 chance on getting a bad one. I don't know what it is about them, just always seemed to be bad. If I can avoid putting them in, I do. I try to go with Delphi for first choice on chevy sending units.

I've had my 2001 Hoe less than a year and mine went out around 145k shortly after I bought it. My brother-in-law, who was a GM Mechanic before switching to a state job, changed it for me. I picked up the Delphi because that was what he recommended as well. He also said the one he changed was also an aftermarket. I'm hoping it'll last me a while :/

Is it possible to buy only pump without the assembly. Or do i need complete with new assembly?

Mine has gone out three times in 275k miles on my '02 Hoe. First two were Delco, this last one I went Delphi. When I bought the Delphi, I recall pump only was available, but you might as well get the whole module since the level sending unit goes bad from time to time.
