Fuel pump question

I have a 02 yukon xl Denali. My fuel pump went out. So i dropped the tank and replaced the pump and be side being a pain no problem. Loaded back up and took for a drive no problem.

So i was like 50 miles to empty went to gas station to fill the tank up. When it got close to full the tank started leaking from the top. Towed it home and jacked it up and it started leaking again.

Any ideas kn problem?

Do you have an inspection mirror that you can use to see up there? You could always borrow your girl's makeup mirror in a pinch.

Check the gasket around the fuel pump is seated right. They can be a little tricky at times and will leak otherwise

Did you replace the rubber collar and new lock ring?
