I have been doing some research and I have some possible fixed to the 93 blazer I look at last week. It has a transmission problem. Have to manually select 1st gear. It may be in limp mode? Easy fix from what I have found on the other forums harness or solenoid. The 4wd hi doesn't work but 4lo and 2wd works. Could be a ground or acuator. I was thinking about offering him $1500 for it. Is this too much?

200,000 miles exterior is good need tire. the engine runs good im willing to bet it has been rebuilt runs better than the others that i have driven. btu the current owner doesnt know if it has or not. the carpet needs cleaning and the interior could use some generall purpose cleaner

well stop the guys shop and he wasnt their but i called him and he wont take anything less than $1800 but he took me to stop by tomorrow and talk with him. he said he was going to take a look at it.
OAN: i stop by a different lot and a guy had a 1998 4 door 4wd 124k mile asking $3000 cash. it runs and drives very good only thing is i couldnt hear the acuators when i pushed 4wd hi but heard the 4wd lo and 2wd. is that normal? it needs a good cleaning carpet is soiled and previous owner smoked in it. what do you think?
it not what i iniatially want(2 door) but it seems like a good deal?

The 4 door sounds like a better deal to me. Its newer, less miles, and doesnt have any major problems. I say that the full size blazer is over priced anyways.

4 door has a better engine in it. less miles. go with it or stick it out for a better 2-door tahoe/yukon
