So I have an issue that is funnier than it is problematic. I just wired up a CB and when i press the trigger on the mic, my windshield wipers go on. It made me crack up the first time it happened. Any ideas?

Where is the antenna located exactly and how much transmitting power are you using?
And how did you wire it and to what did you tap into.
Most likely the magnetic field created with mic button depressed is inductively triggering the solid-state electonics in the motor/controller. You can tap into a different power source or put some line noise blocker on power wire or relocate antenna or reduce power output..
It is quite hilarious but is a common occurrence.
Be glad it is not doing it to your transfer case motor control if you have a 4x4.

Its a 1000 watt antenna mounted on the front brushguard. I used a fuse tap into the radio fuse and grounded to a bolt with another wire also grounded to it.

Seriously you have an antenna pushing out 1000watts of power from the radio. Maybe I am misunderstanding something but not only is that illlegal I never knew a cb radio could put out more than 26. is the power correct? it would blow your fuse instantly.
Try a fuse other then #11,17 or 23 or either of the circuit breakers. It is best to wire radio transmitters to a relay battery connection.

The 1000 watt rating is just the maximum amount that can be run through it, I'm just running the normal cb amount through it.
You'd be better off running the power str8 from the accessory panel under the hood.
I've got an export radio modified for CB frequencies (see my sig for more details) that I've hard wired to the underhood accessory box - not tapped into a fuse, but run str8 from the bolt closest to the firewall. Grounded to a self-tapping bolt on firewall. Clean, clear signal and excellent radio reports from many miles out - running a roof-mount Wilson 1000 antenna mounted about 18-24" from rear.

I'm a licensed amatuer radio operator so I'm allowed to run up to a 1000watt linear amp in my truck on the freqs that include CB.
In fact I have a 250watt dead key 'boot' in my truck now. In the olden days when I brought my truck to Mr. Lube for oil changes, I would quitely key up the mic. Every carbon monoxide detector in the joint would go off for several minutes after I let go. Work would have to stop on all vehicles, and the guys in the pit would have to come up, etc.
In my younger days I used to have great amounts of fun setting things off just by keying up.
ONTOPIC: Mounted on the front bushbar is not giving you the best transmission power or SWR. Wilson's, K40's, etc need to have at least 1/2 length flat metal for use as a ground plane. The best location is smack dab in the middle of the roof.
You'll get better reception and you'll travel further. Just my $0.02.
