Hello. I screwed up and grounded out the cable from the positive to the alternator. Appears that one of 175 amp fuses blew. Not that bad. But in testing I discovered that there is continuity between the fuse box on driver's side and ground. Is there any reason this should be? Or do I have a wire melted somewhere??

On what terminal of the fusebox are you measuring for ground?
