Hi all
I am trouble shooting a P0446 intermittent pending and persistant P0451 code on a 2010 Escalade ESV. I went to disconnect the rubber vent hose that attaches to the fill neck from the the plastic hose that terminates to the gas tank and noticed gasoline in the lines. The amount varies; some times a few drops and some times several mL always enough to be a PITA.

Is this normal? If not what does it indicate?

The tank has been at about 75% full, has not been topped off, KOEO and idle fuel pressure is within spec.

yes did the vent when i got the codes but before i noticed the gas. Also did charcoal at the same time. No noticable pellets in lines too

Also to note the vent code never pops up, it only shows as pending from time to time but never sticks. The P0451 is the one that actually becomes CEL.
