What's up guys.

First post so if in the wrong place please move where it needs to be.

07 Tahoe LT, Stock, 89k

So I made the mistake of obsessively topping off the tank resulting in taking 15min to fill up PO442/3 etc.

Changed the purge valve up front, canister and solenoid out back. Dropped tank, blew out every line including fill tube.

After everything done (and a new AC Delco pump since I dropped the tank) it fills up better but still can't pump gas full throttle, maybe 50-60% and only when engine is running. When off same as before, takes forever to fill.

All the above no longer main concern but has to be connected to what I'm dealing with now. Tank literally sounds like it's gassy. Not constant, random here and there.

Another issue is the idle starts jumping around to the point where it comes close to stalling if I don't give it gas. I have to drive with two feet when this happens to keep it going. This is random also. Drove it for 20min today ran completely fine.

Not throwing any codes which makes it even more fun.

First time pasting a link from YouTube so lmk if it doesn't work.

Thanks in advance, any feedback would be great.

My 2010 would have erratic idle and display a message of lose gas cap at those times. Like you posted almost having to two pedal to keep it running.

Funny you say that because what I failed to mention in list of things I changed was the gas cap because of that same message on the dash. The message doesn't come on anymore but this latest issue started after I changed the gas cap...

I thought maybe the gas cap also but it's making a tight seal. Every time I fill up it let's air out like a deflating raft.

If your vent valve and lines are working correctly, and the engine is off and the key out of the ignition, there shouldn't be any pressure or vacuum in the tank. The vent valve should open when the ignition is off.
