I've got needles in my current cluster that are from a pontiac aztec, they look awesome but i'm thinking they are off by just a bit. Is there a reliable way to set the gauges to the correct positions without a scan tool?

I'm also going to be installing my DIC overhead console in my new build, but it has rear AC controls, i'd like to eliminate them if possible, maybe just splice the wires together to set it permanently on rear control?

unknown at this time.
For blower the orange wire on the front switch needs to be permanently grounds and the others terminated to prevent shorts. This would fool the logic module in ignoring the front unit for control. By the diagram this should work as I described.

Cool that worked perfectly, any thoughts on getting the gauges to sit at a steady reading so I can swap the needles? I thought about maybe putting power to the cluster and putting a resistor between the ground and sensor pins to get it at a fixed reading
