Hello from Sweden.
I've got a 2011 Suburban LTZ with 45.000 miles.
They are pretty expensive here in Sweden. Bought mine a year ago for 43.000 U.S. dollars.

I'm looking to buy one in California and ship it to Sweden.
$1600 for the shipping from L.A. to Sweden and when we import a car from an other country we must
pay 10% in tariff and 25% tax in Sweden of the price we paid for the car in the US.

I want a Suburban or Yukon XL from 2007 or newer.
Around $10.000.
For that kind of money i find 2007s with 150 - 200k miles.
Is it safe to buy a 2007 with that miles?

The reason why I want to buy in California is that i have a Swedish friend there.

Thanks
/Eric

Hello Eric, I would not hesitate to buy one with those miles if appears well cared for and is in good condition. Can you get engine parts over there?

Thanks, that sounds great.
Tahoe and Avalanche are pretty popular here in Sweden.

Ive had 5 Suburban in the past, 3 2000-2006 and one 2007 and now my 2011.
Also had 2 Tahoes and 2 Escalades ESV 2007 and 08 :) And a bunch of Durangos, Explorer Jeeps etc.
I try to live the american dream in Sweden haha

It all depends on how it was maintained. Mine is almost at 200k and is running very strong. I’d drive it across country tomorrow if needed without hesitating but there are some I’ve seen with just 100k on them that I would trust to drive across town.

Loose steering, is it a common issue? Steering bearing?
Had a 08 Escalade ESV wit 105.000 miles and the steering wheel was very loose.
My 45K miles Burb 11 is tight and nice

My steering is tight at 200k but I'm sure at that mileage it wouldn't be unheard of to need to give the steering some attention if it's not been done before.
