Since I'm 16 and this is my first car, I honestly have no idea what that means! Haha. But my mom told me to make an appointment for my Tahoe, so I will.

But, my tires squeal very badly. It used to be rare, but now it's whenever I turn almost any angle. It's loud and annoying. Will the tire rotation appointment take care of this? Or is it a different problem?

And no, it is not simply because of the tire/wheel size. This isn't normal whatever it is. IF the appointment won't take care of it, what do you guys think would solve it? New tires?

Thanks

Mine squeal on U-turns on certain pavement, most times it just means your tread is still real good. May want to cheack alignment and makesure everything is right, ask them about it when you get there so we can know the real cause?
Never thought it was really a problem........

Yeah I'll see what they say when I get it back. I hope it's not normal, it's really annoying and it sounds like I'm burning rubber. Which really would be fine if I was going fast. Not 5mph haha.

and it means moving each tire from where it is and swapping it to another location on the vehicle...usually, front tires to rear and the rears to the front...keeps the wear even across all the tires, hence longer tire life. and the tire squeal, mine do it too, on certain pavement, usually like walmart black pavement, any of that smoother kind...

Welcome to the site my friend. Typically guys only put the vehicles which they personally own in their signatures. Just a friendly reminder from your neighborhood BOSS. :Handshake:

since your young man, start workin on it yourself if thats what your into..pull out the jack, take the wheels off..rear wheels go straight ahead, front wheels cross, then go to the back...its a 20 minute job..the shop will charge prolly 50 at a minimum to do it

I really hope you aren't talking to me. If you would have read my stats, you would see that I'm not new here. I can prove any of this car stuff, and already have before.

I've seen people younger than me own much nicer cars, I don't see why a Tahoe doesn't seem so believable. I mean hell, if I REALLY wanted to try and impress people, don't you think I'd be putting Mercedes' and Ferrari's and what not in here? Yeah, I really think I'm going to impress everyone with a Tahoe and Escalade.

And I'm not claiming to own all 3 myself if that's what you mean. The Tahoe is mine but the other 2 belong to my parents.

No one seriously posts questions about a car that they don't own. They really don't.

Well, I've proved that I own this car before, I guess he just wasn't around when I did it. I think I posted my proof on Tahoeforum.com, before it stopped working.

So you're saying that I move the rear wheels directly to the front...and move the front wheels to the rear, but swap them? If that's all it is then, yeah I can do that with my dad's help but I don't see him until this weekend.
