Been a little delay in posting after the "fix". I say "fix" due to the fact the weekend after my last post things turned belly up. Was out at the park with the fam an when we went to leave the Tahoe started rough an didn't really want to idle. Got it home an called my mechanic friend an his first question was if it had the flat top style distributor, which it does. His response was...replace the cap before anything, those are notorious for going out. Might look fine on the inside but I can almost guarantee that's that problem. So bought a new cap an rotor an that stopped the craziness. This did not however fix it's normal slightly rough idle that it has when in park not under a load that it had before going belly up
