This morning I rolled down my front driver side window to free a bug and misteriously my rear passenger window rolled down? I was puzzled for a moment and tried to roll it up but the switch was unresponsive which is a problem because with the PPV the rear switch is completely disabled. So did what anyone would do and gently bumped my fist against the door handle and was then able to use the switch to roll up the passenger side rear window.

1) Is this a normal problem?
B) Do I simply need a new window switch set for my door?
III) Do I have to pull the whole door panel to remove the cluster of switches?

TIA!
Jeff

If hitting the door handle got the switch to work, I'd be taking the switch panel off of the door and see if you just have a bad connection!!

I have a similar intermittent problem on an '02 XL, except drivers door. it almost seems like it gets stuck on auto down. the only solution i found was to turn the car off and restart and it then goes back up and works properly. i was thinking switch, but have yet to try.
