"we have owned 6 GM cars and now 3 have been bought back by GM"

I've owned plenty of cars and none have had that many problems and you had 3 that had to be returned. Something is fishy here. In your world you have/had a 50/50 chance of getting a lemon with a GM.

I think the GM products that are the subject of this forum are well engineered, attractive and purposeful vehicles. The negatives of buffeting, buyback posts etc. is distracting and very well could be an attempt by disingenuous entities to smear the brand and potential resale.

Buybacks, lemon discussion and similar should have their own forum. I participate on a number of forums out there and the amount of shill advertising is both increasing and creative.

There are multiple people on here that have had two 15/16 Yukons bought back, so not out of line, IMO. These trucks are flawed. period.

Just got the call GM is buying back our Yukon. I have no clue what to buy tho. I really do love my Yukon but for the money (have a XL Denali 4WD) I just don't see it holding up in the long run. My husband wants a Denali 1500 truck but I think it's the same issue with it not holding up in 4-5 years. What kind of deals is everyone getting? I only got $6,000 off the 1st time and kind of feel I got ripped off but they weren't out very long and I did negotiate with every dealer within 100 miles.

I went through the same thing a couple years ago..gm..purchased mine back because they couldn't fix and gave me a 4k coupon towards any brand new gmc..so I purchased the 2015 yukon and after 30k miles I didn't think it would hold up..so this past weekend I left gmc alone completely and just purchased a2017 Mercedes

There isn't really many options out there for people who need a lot of room. My husband is 6'5 so even with most midsize SUV's his seat goes all the way back and my kids are tall so they don't fit behind his seat. We almost bought a QX80 and his knees rubbed on the dash.

Wow, you acted quickly. I know you mentioned being concerned about the truck and issues a few weeks ago. What did you go with...GLS?

In all fairness one wasn't GMs fault it was the dealers. They sold us a Tahoe and it had been in a accident or hit on the lot and they sold it to us as brand new then we found out about it when we found some excess glue around the inside back window. So we went to GM customer service about it and they made it right for us after the dealer wouldn't. The other one was that weird steering GM tried with the Malibus back in the early 2000's.
