The dealer shot me a price of $2315.00 for a 72 months / 84,000 mile warranty.
Is there a better deal with another dealer and is it better to shop around? I'd prefer to extend the warranty to 72 month / 100,000 mile. I've found some prices on the web but fear they are a con.

Any assistance is appreciated.

I'm not sure exactly what kind of vehicle you are talking about, but my dad bought a new 2011, and one dealer quoted him $2500 to extend his bumper to bumper to 100k. Another quoted him $1200. The dealer told him that was their cost on the warranty, and he went with them to buy the truck.

I just got a extended quote on a GM Major Guard extended warranty for 84 month/ 84,000 and 72 months / 100,000 mile zero deductible that saved me over $525.00 plus sales tax from a out of state dealer. No brainer.
