Actually my wife wanted an slt but nobody would come off msrp. Then we found a at4 online the next day. We called them up and they said they just got it in and would give us almost 4K off msrp. So we took that deal. Got it cheaper then the slt we were looking at. Also got gm supplier discount through my work.

That is a great deal, did you buy in Arcadia, I bought my 2018 Expedition Max Platinum from Desoto Ford. They gave me good deal and best money for trade. The deal was so good, even the trip down for wife and youngest, they drove, me and the two older ones we flew, wife and youngest flew back after and extra few days down there for there troubles and I and the older ones drove back, we STILL came out ahead of anywhere up here. Also the folks we incredibly nice and helpful.

I would gladly go back there or to Arcadia to buy if the deal was right.

Supply and demand, I suppose. Two of the three local dealers are holding firm on price and one is making deals. The dealer willing to cut a deal is getting Yukon's by the truck load because they are selling them. The dealers that are being stingy are having a hard time getting them in. Making a good deal is in the best interest of the buyer and the dealer.

I have been following the new F-150 as well. The trucks haven't even hit lots yet and there are dealer's openly offering $1K under invoice. The more you sell, the more you get allocated.

incredibly true, have sold cars and when you sell you get to the front of the order line. unfortunately the delare I worked at was a standalone Jeep dealer that wasn't really in the business of selling just keeping Daddy's business going until they could sell and both retire.

No we didn’t purchase in Arcadia. The Chevy dealer here is horrible on purchase prices. We bought our Yukon from starling gmc in Sarasota Fl. They were upfront and not trying to add anything extra to the price.
The Ford dealer here is awesome though just Ford doesn’t have anything that interested us. The expedition is nice but has the same interior as my 17 f250 platinum and needs updated to the explorer style inside.

Agreed on Ford/Expy now. I really should have just rented often, but it was new and much better with IRA over Tahoe at time. Now I think Yukon looks better. I loved my "07 Tahoe and had great run with it. Looking to get back to Tahoe/Yukon

Was a crazy thing after wife drove 3 days, 1,200 mi and i and kids flew down there, the first think out of my salesmen's mouth was "Tim I hate to say this but there may be a problem." Luckily it turned out it was just his last day as he was going back to work for his dad's business, but i was really like "What the..........?!?" at first. The whole dealership there was awesome. One of my best car buying experiences.

No but I would go with the AT4, I think they get the electronic limited slip (G96) and the Tahoe has a mechanical limited slip which is listed as standard on the High Country, RST and Z71.
Just some info on the AT4 you can still get the G80 locker the electronic lsd is available with the AT4 off road package as an option more $$$

Seems dealers in MI, IL and OH have the largest discounts off MSRP, at least right now...
