I have a 2009 Yukon SLE that did not come with fog lights. I want to put the GMC brand fog lights in the spaces in the front bumper (there is currently a plug in there). Can anyone say if the vehicle is pre - wired to accept these. The parts guy at the dealer thinks so. Any insight would be appreciated.

On the left side of the steering wheel on the dash there should be a booton you push that would turn them on. It is right below the dimmer knob. If that is not there then you would not be wired for them.

However, why do you want to OEM fogs so bad? There are better fog lights out there that will fit in the holes. PIAA makes a great one. Just an option for ya

I have a Ls Tahoe that did not come with fogs. I got a kit from the dealer that included A new head light switch 2 fog lights the harness and complete install instructions with pictures. All you had to do was pop out the head light switch and plug in the new one. Remove the top of the under hod fuse box and put 1 wire into the proper cavity. The fuse box already has the fog light fuse and relay in it. Run the harness and pop in the lights. The whole install took lees than 1 hour
