I have been meaning to post on here for quite sometime, but a fellow member of wakeworld.com reminded me I needed to get over here and share the project I've been working on. It started as a 2010 Yukon XL 2500 SLT with all the goodies. The previous owner was in a front end collision so I determined it would be the perfect candidate to do the front end conversion I have had in my head for the last year or so. My real intention was to send this thing, affectionately know as "The Beast", down to Eric Swanson at Duraburb to drop in an LMM. However, with 3 kids in daycare I have thought better of it and have decided to sell my dream truck :Stupid Me: If you are interested inbox me. Never the less, I thought the good folks at tahoeyukon.com would enjoy this build more than anyone else so here goes. BTW, Eric was very helpful when I called with a few questions about the swap. He's a super nice guys and I hope to be in a posiiton to buy a Duraburb from him in the future!

I got the truck with the following upgrades already done:

6" Superlift
20x9 Moto Metal Wheels
Magnaflow exhaust
Window tint

With the addition of the front conversion I added:
Nitto Trail Grappler 295/60R20
Red LED taillights
Replaced stereo with Boston components and amp

I don't have very many shots of the build process but I do have a list of the parts and part numbers I used to make the swap work and I will attach it tomorrow night for anyone to use. Hopefully it will save some headache for anyone wanting to do this in the future.

I am so stoked with how this thing turned out! Everyone loves it. I think this is the way the Yukon should have looked from the begining. Let me know that you think and feel free to ask any questions.

Looks good, and I know you said your getting rid of it, but did you plan on doing anything with the fender flares since the front and rear are completely different? Just kinda sticks out like a sore thumb...

Looks great besides that though! I love the mean/beastly look to it. Perfect stance and everything

Thanks, no honestly the front to rear fender difference doesn't bother me at all. Maybe its because I don't notice it anymore. The amount of work that would be required to graft in the truck rear fender doesn't excite me too much. The next owner is welcome to give it a go though! :)

looks surprisingly good. if it were lowered, i think the fender difference would bug me more.. but it this stance it looks badass.

iT'S ALIVE!!!!

No offense to yukon guys but it's got an odd looking front end in my eyes. not good looking at all. all chevys/gm trucks should have tightly squared headlights and front ends. this thing is a beast.

it'd look instantly better with some proper 33" Toyo MTs and black 18" wheels. more rugged which matches the crazy height of this rig.

thx for sharing
