Thanks a bunch for sharing. I just did a complete steering and suspension job. It's much better, but I still have a little slop between the steering wheel and the steering gear even with a relatively new intermediate shaft. This may be the reason. I will be doing this soon and will update this post.

So I just turned these in until tight. Anyone know what is the setting on these on how tight they should be?? I turned them until they stopped turning easily with my 1/4 inch wrench

Steering wheel still loose. Likely my gearbox is garbage. it'd a rebuilt unit I bought about 18 months ago. I been too busy to take it off and go warranty it at the auto parts store.
