GMT800 Second Battery Underhood

What size battery will fit in the secondary tray Underhood? Dimensions wise, I just purchased the secondary battery tray but can't find anything showing me dimensions. Thanks!

I saw that one earlier, but I need actual width, depth and height dimensions. Maybe I can look up the battery from that post and see if I can find dimensions for it

Yes I know I didn't see and dimensions. figure you could call your local battery shop and ask if they had one in stock to measure. That sounds like the only way and your already on top of it lol.
In the post you can see just how tall it is , just shy of where the brace bolts onto the fender and top of the fire wall. Looks like an inch or less.
Or install the battery bracket in and drive to the battery store and find one that fits best for you.

Group 78 or 34/78 was the biggest I could fit.

That's the same size as the starter battery.

78 = Top terminals, 34/78 = both. Both of my batteries are 34/78's.

I spent weeks looking to see if there was a way I could put a bigger battery in there but as near as I can tell, 34/78 is the biggest that will fit. I also got the X2 battery which has the highest amp rating of any 78 or 34/78 I could find: 68ah which is quite a bit more than the standard 78 which is about 55ah.

I run two of the same size battery...which happens to be the same size battery in my Caprice PPV.
