going from 24's to 22's...

My front driver's-side tire is really bad. The whole sidewall is cracked and it slowly loses air..

I was going to get new tires but 3 of my rims are bent.. so i'll just tear up new tires if I use these wheels. I figure downgrade to 22's and run a beefier tire.. something with not as much offset. The ones I have now stick out a bit.

I've seen a set of 22's on a lowered tahoe but I'm not sure who's it is.. I'll look for it.

I'm open for wheel and tire suggestions.. budget is like 1,500

Good ol U2 wheel quality for you!
Hopefully you don't have Kumho tires becasue that will explain the sidewall issue.

I say level it on black/machined KMC Brodie 22s with a 285/50/22 tire.

I'm not dropped, but I'm running 22x9.5 Velocitys w/305/40/22 rubber.

That sucks dude but you'll like the ride of 22s much more not to mention the cost of tires, better braking, and less stress on the front end components. There are a few nice wheels that just dropped, I like a few of these:

thx for the info. Those 057's are ugly lol.. no offense. I'd be looking for either chrome or polished.. something simple. My budget is flexible..

I'm going to put decient rubber on whatever I get.. that's why I'm in this position now

I think them 057s look serious. Stay away from Falken Ziex! I had the belts seperate on 4 of 5 tires.
