I'm switching from the 4230s to trimmed 5305s for a little more low. The only thing I need is the springs, so the extenders will be up for sale.

Thinking about Moog everything for the front and some DJM arms. If anyone has a used set of arms w/ bad ball joints I may be interested in taking them off your hands for the right price

I couldn't decide if I wanted to start a new thread or just tag onto another one so I'll add to this one.

I got some BT SPs for the rear and swapped them in to see if the shocks alone could give me the stance I want.

Here's where I was before:
Driver rear


Pass rear


Bilsteins in


Swapping in the BellTechs


These are much shorter




No difference in ride height after I drove around the block






I'm going to drive it for a week and see what happens. So far I haven't had to swap in the 5305s and if I'm lucky, I won't have to.

BTW, sorry for the crappy pics, cell phone, cold weather and darkness don't go well together, haha.

Im glad we are in the same boat....I know I gotta do something with that spring. There are no dead coils so you DO NOT want to cut them. And your right, shocks wont get you lower, just stiffer or softer ride quality.

Interested in if it gets you lower. I have same shocks, the bilsteins, but 5305 springs. I think im at 32 all around. But that was w/ ss 20's. Haven't checked w/ the 22's though.

Thought you were selling the tahoe also? (i havent been on here alot lately)

You got 22s?? When did this happen? I'm not on much either so I'm sure I missed it.

I kicked around the idea of selling it, but I'll keep it a little longer. I still like playing w/ it and I know I'll kick myself once it's gone. You may have me confused with the other alex (alxs210) too, lol.

I have a set of DJM arms, but still contemplating bagging, and may use them if you go that route. Not trying to tease ya, haha, but can let you know if I plan on getting rid of em. Been sitting in my garage for 2 yrs now, trying to talk the wife into letting me bag the Tahoe!! Kinda hard task when you dump money into the suspension, and want to dump even more into a new setup. haha
