This is basically my first post... got my 07 tahoe the week before christmas and was waiting to post anything until I got my wheels. I also have the McGaughy's 2/3 kit but it's not installed yet. Taking everything one step at a time. Got the wheels and tires for $1700 new and the lowering kit for $275 off Ebay, never installed. Wheels are U2-55 24's with Kumho Ecsta STX 305/35/24. The only thing else I've had done is the tint... 20% on the fronts and 5% in back. Sorry for the pic quality... camera phone.

Got the wheels and tires from a place in Garland, TX called First Discount Tire. Here's the website: http://stores.fdt1601.com/StoreFront.bok I thought it was a good price, $1700 cash out the door. They really only rub when you turn full lock or go through a dip at an angle or something, but the rub marks are really small, will probably not rub for long. I was planning on getting the BOSS 330's, but when I saw both in person, I liked these better, since they were cheaper.

Oh, and the price I got was cheaper than the listed price on their website... $425 for each wheel and tire. Prices were listed as $295 for each wheel and $185 for each tire on the website.

Thanks for all the welcomes guys! This is a great site, lots of good info and friendly people. Lots of badass tahoes, burbans, and yukons too! I love my tahoe... this is probably my tenth vehicle, and by far my favorite.

wow, that looks really good. i have a ltz the same color. doesnt really look like it needs lowered. mine with the autoride sits a lot higher in the rear than the front. i almost bought those rims for mine a month or so ago, nice to see how my truck would have looked. post pics after the drop.
