Hey guys, just bought my self a 1997 GMC Yukon SLT 4x4 with 195,000 KM's which is close to 121 167 miles. Engine and Transmission feel good and strong, she is in today getting her Certification done so I can put her on the road. She has some minor rust spots I would like to get rid of, but considering the ammount of salt we use up here and her age shes in good shape.

Would like to do some minor modifications like a CAI, TB Spacer, and maybe down the road some headers with a flowmaster exhaust.

I was curious as to if there is any way to find out what Transmission I have and what rear end I have?

Thanks guys!

Welcome to the TYF.
You should be able to find out what components you have using the Vin#.
Check w/a GM dealership.

Thanks for the Info, Looking forward to Learning all about these beasts.

Any suggestions for simple performance improvements?

you could do tons of things its just money wise. You got to pay to play

But Depends on what you are looking for and how much you are willing to spend.
