hi everybody!

A month ago, i just bought a '98 2dr LT Tahoe, i'm the third owner, he need several repairs and cleaning. The car was registered since new in Spain , it's the Canadian model (km/h speedo and canada eng. compartment stickers).

Thanks to both of you for the welcome! Initially , i'm fixing the lack of maintenance and mistakes made by PO's and shops.

My initial TODO list is :

1. They put ATF on a NV246 transfer case, looks like he needs Delco autotrak II (i'll discuss that in another thread).
2. Replace all fluids and filters (probably ATF and diff are straight out from '98).
   
3. Check and correct pump rub issue at transfer case.
4. Redo stock intake manifold gasket (yes, it leaks )
5. Replace radiator.
   
6. Clean the interior and fix driver seat rip.
   
7. Hook OBD-2 and see what's going on with sensors.
8. Replace 4WD switch.
9. Speakers held by electric tape (oooo boy).
10. Diagnose some annoying sound from front passenger side susp/steering.
    
11. Front end Alignment.

Short-medium term :

1. Replace rims and tires
   
2. Paint it black
3. Install a basic stereo with usb
4. Radio Antenna Delete
5. Rebuild the stock engine

I have to control my investment in this car, the original plan was sell my '77 Nova Concours Sedan (was my dd) and invest the money in the Tahoe, but i'm a little sentimentally attached to the Nova, things will happen slow. I'm also building a Thirdgen Camaro =) .

If it has ***'s or Tires It's gonna give you troubles!
