I have Grey interior in an 03 Yukon. I dont want to stain or paint the whole carpet, but there are some permanent stains that I want to touch up. Does anybody know of a dye/paint that closely matches the color? Build sheet has both 921, AND 922 CODES.

I don't know the color names or codes, but SEM makes great products. I think their "Color Coat" line is what you want, but I suggest you research online or go ask someone at an auto body supply store that carries such products. They have a spray dye that you apply to the carpet then gently rub it in with a toothbrush or short-bristle paintbrush. Start at the middle/worst of the stain and blend it as you work your way out. Clean the carpet as best as possible beforehand so you blend the newly dyed area into clean, original color.

SEM 17163 (med dk pewter) is the light gray. Be careful, however, because GM used 921/922 codes for two different colors in the NBS trucks. One has the light gray leather, one has the shale leather. Your build sheet will say if you have one. Otherwise, compare the leather to the plastic trim. If it's about the same, that's the gray. If it's noticeably lighter, that's the shale. There's a thread on it somewhere.

This is what the build sheet says:
921 - Interior Trim Shale/Pewter (921)
922 - Trim Combination Leather, Shale Pewter (922)
The seat leather seems dark to me. The Dash has some very dark grey on it.

That's what I mean. Mine says
921 - gray interior trim
922 - gray/dark charcoal

You got a pic? Here's mine.

Also, take a look in @Sevenevez build thread. He has some info as well. I can't find that other thread with the color discussion, but I know it's here.

Your leather is shale. Best way to tell what your leather color--pop off one of the front headrests, turn it over and unclip the plastic that's holding it closed, there's a white tag in there that'll tell you exactly what color leather you have.
I'm guessing if you have 921/922 you have a 2 tone interior.

I have two tone plastic, but not leather. And this is what I'm saying about their color codes. They used the same numbers for two different core schemes. It's not the Shale. The Shale is lighter. I'll look harder for that thread.

I'll pull a headrest later.

Doesn't have to be 2 tone leather, just 2 tone interior, which includes plastic, like door panels.
