grill question

i am trying to finish blacking out my '012 big black hoe and have a question about the chrome trim on the grill. how in the cornbread heck do they come off. i just looked at them for a minute but figured id ask the experts before i break something or do more work than needed. thanks in advance

Its a bunch of tabs that hold it on. When i took mine off, i removed the Bumper cover and it was easier to work it off that way. You have to release the tabs one at a time and if it moves slightly, it can lock back into place. Its near impossible trying to work it from the back side. I had my bumper off when i was installing the SS bumper cover.
