Looking to put in a grill in my 2004 Yukon but don't really know what to go with. How hard is it to just put in an insert or is it easier to just find a whole grill mount?

I put a grille on my escalade, not sure if its the same case as the Yukon but I had to cut my factory grill out to put in the billet grille. It wasn't too bad, basically you just follow the factory edge with a dremel or airsaw. I cut mine about 1/8-1/16 from the edge I was following and then used a grinding stone on the dremel to take it down to the edge. In my experience aftermarket grilles don't fit for shit so you'll have to get creative in certain areas. It isn't a hard job, its just time consuming to get it perfect and it takes a certain mentality to cut something that once its cut its never going to be uncut again. Take your time and you'll be pleased with the results. Just don't get the kind of grille that zip ties to the factory grille, they never look good.
