Grille Guard Compatibility???

Hey all,

I've been looking to pick up a Ranch Hand grille guard for my 2006 Tahoe, and I just found one that's been taken off a 2001 Silverado. My question is if the front clip on the 2000-2002 Silverado is the same as the 2006 Tahoe. I know they're extremely similar, but I wasn't sure if accessories would match up correctly.

Can anyone provide some guidance? Thanks for the help!!

Well it is similar enough to work but you miht need to mod the way it mounts with home made brackets. It wil work but like i said it could look weird on it but will still function. Ive seen different body styles wprk on different trucks so yea u can do it

I'm mechanically inclined, but I don't have a welder at home yet. So I'd like to avoid fabbing mounts. Am I pretty much stuck with buying a grille guard that's made for my specific vehicle? I was thinking they were the same based on the pictures on the Ranch Hand website.
