I may be doing some extensive traveling to Northwoods Wisconsin where the deer are a plenty. My uncle has hit 8 already this year! Is there a Grille Guard that everyone seems to agree is best for functionality and not just looks?

thanks

a steel bumper would be your best bet, i recently put a Frontier brand guard on mine, I wouldnt want to hit a deer on the highway or anything, but am comfortable it would offer some decent protection at lower speeds. nearly hit a whitetail in the neighborhood first night i put it on.

The bulkier the better. I destroyed a small animal going 80ish at iChat with my old guard not even a scratch. With that same guard I almost made deer jerky but i just barley missed. This guard I have no problem ramming Bambi

Lol it's clean now that was back in August. Me and my tenant went to a mudding event. Had a good time and jumped it a couple times aswell. Then 3 days later went past Tulsa for a car and these school girls wanted to wash the windshield for donations for their school. I kindly told them no thank you and they loled. No poin if the rest was full of clay. It all washed off by rain but there is still traces here and there under the body
