installed 2.5" rear spacers about 3 weeks ago. Put ebay keys in front to level it out. Now, periodically, I will get a grinding sound from my rear-end somewhere. Originally, I thought it was due to a bad seal around my diff cover, which I repaired. It seemed to go away for a while, but now has returned.
It only makes the sound when I'm traveling at low speeds and turning left, which makes me think it's either dfferential related or axle related.
I recall reading here somewhere that when lifting the rear end of these trucks, there's a slight chance the rear axle can, for lack of a better word, "jostle" back and forth. Is there any truth to this? I also recall there being some sort of aftermarket sway bar or something you can buy to prevent this from happening.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
