Ok guys,

Here's the latest issue:

Drove home from work today (90 miles) and everything was fine. Got in to my neighborhood and came to a stop sign. I go to take off and there's a grinding noise, trans acts like it's not engaging fully into gear. Let off the throttle, then ease into it and it drives ok. Shifting is fine, etc.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks guys!!

So what's a good estimate on cost for those parts and how tough of a job is it to repair?

unknown at this time.
any one of those is an automatic tear-down for visual inspection. consult a tranny shop for further diagnosis. since you have 4wd have the shop inspect the transfer as a possible source of the problem as well in case the linkage is way off adjustment or being moved from broken engine or tranny mounts.
