So I decided to keep my old buggy after window shopping. Found a new Denali I loved but it would set me back $86k to start then I would have my costs to make it to what I want from there. That's crazy! I bought a brick house with tennis court and such for almost that price!!!! Because of that I needed to get a new rim since I had one leaking. Found a set off of a 2015 with minor curb rash for $800 with tires so I sprang on it. I also went ahead and glassed a 10" woofer next to the power liftgate system too to get the stereo to sound a little better.

Is that strip down the side a high water mark from driving in deep water?

Yes with all the freaking rain we've been getting here in Ohio that's exactly what it is

looking good. how do you like them lights?

I love them. Of course anything is better than the milky oem ones I had in there. Biggest pain in the ass is getting them adjusted. The adjusters are buried behind the core support. A friend of mine owns a body shop and I was going to use this machine to adjust them but I could not since I'm using LED headlights. So over the course of a few nights I adjusted the best driving down the road

I will try to get pictures of the woofer. I would like actually to lift it because of the nasty winters we've been having. If I lived in a warmer climate I would lower it

I had the same thoughts when I hit the dealer, before tax n tags a denali xl was 78, escalade about 10 more the way I wanted it and a 5.3 LTZ wasn't an option. For that price I expect and want a diesel.

So instead I said I'll keep mine and did a 6k system (with me doing the labor) full stainless exhaust, leveling kit and a blower.

Now the goddamn fiance wants a truck of her own and the GL550's shes talking about aren't happening...so I guess I'm buying one anyway in the near future. I said screw it I'll get you an XL/ESV let you have it while its nice and new then I can use it like a truck by the time the 07 dies and its not as pretty.
