I don't know how many of you are familiar with this product, but most BMW enthusiasts use it. It helps preserve rubber seals and lubricates window rubber seals.

I just received some and applied to my side windows. Good stuff.

1z products are simply amazing. I’ve used them for about 13 years, since owning a new ‘07 GTI until now with my ‘15. Try some of the Gummi on the door seals as well. Keeps them really nice and rubbery. My all time favorite of theirs is the plastic cleaner, not Cockpit Premium even though that is great for light cleaning. The plastic cleaner is a miracle in a bottle. It really restores plastic to a like new look and feel. I’ve never had a less than amazing experience with any of their products.

I did some research and determined it was the best product to use on the urethane rear window seals on our trucks. I ended up putting it on all of the black rubber because I liked it so much. I don't think there is another product that works like it does. Thanks for the tip derekjl, I am going to get the plastic cleaner now.

You’re welcome. You will be amazed at how well it works both interior and exterior. I recommend spraying onto a microfiber unless the area is extremely soiled.

There's a shitload of these products on the market by various makers, Sonax is one, and there's others.

I like Wolfgang WETS, sold at autogeek about the best for weather-stripping. This is a really good product, for both rubber, and vinyl-plastic trim

I'm sure that there are other products that perform well. I posted what I've found, along with others, that work well. Gummi Flege is that product.
