Half of the lights in my gauge cluster are not working after I accidentally sliced into a blue (possibly light blue) wire that runs into the connector HDLNR 1 (A) 12-WAY (M) BRN when installing an audio amp kit. I repaired the wire before I noticed the lights were out. I pulled the cluster and popped it open to find that I don't have bulb sockets like I've seen mentioned on this forum and on youtube videos. I didn't take the face or gauges off, just viewed the cluster from the back at what looked like a large motherboard with certain solder points that I was sure were the lights (I'm assuming LED's but someone on here mentioned they're soldered in bulbs which confuses me). So my questions are:
What's the blue wire in that connector near the e-brake and does it go to my cluster?
Did that have anything to do with part of my cluster lights going out?
Im fairly handy, where do I get the soldered in bulbs or led's for replacements?
Final question, where can I find a good .pdf service manual for this vehicle?
Can't find any reliable free information regarding wiring schematics and service stuff for one of the highest rated SUV's of all time. Im not opposed to spending money but free is free right?
I apologize if I am ignorant of forum guidelines and I thank all you knowledgable people in advance for your help.
