Hey guys,
I have done a lot of work on my truck and will try and post a spreadsheet of items, but again I am faced with a struggling start especially when cold. I thought I had this solved when I replaced the intake manifold and other parts on the manifold, but apparently not, it is back. I have also noticed a little build-up of carbon on exhaust tips, and the car seems to have a not as healthy sound to it, kind of described as a sputter when driving, a little loss of power if not mistaken as well. Any help is always greatly appreciated.

After the last seafoam treatment, I don't see an oil change. Also don't see any spark plug change after that. Wonder if they're gummed up? Did you change the camshaft position sensor while you were doing the knock sensors and/or oil pressure sensor? Maybe knocked the wire around? Check for codes? What brand of knock sensors? These rigs do not like anything but OEM.

AC Delco knock sensors. Didn’t know about cam shaft sensor :(, i feel like idid oil pressure sensor. I’ll check spark plugs. I do oil changes regularly, should be on there. Thanks for reply!

My money is on the MAF/IAT/ECT sensor incorrect reading I would check the COLD Overnight key on reading... with the engine off

these commonly known to fail

the IAT might report the incorrect temp...

Also MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL IT CORRECTLY even having the rotation of the sensor incorrectly will cause issues later that you will be chasing for nothing..

At lest I learned how to install a MAF/IAT correctly :D the HARD way

No check engine light, no codes, spark plugs and wires were done six months ago. I’m thinking about just replacing the maf.

Try to figure out starting (cranking) RPM, maybe just turning a little slow. I didn't see starter or battery on list. Good luck and post updates.

The big thing is a rough/sputter while driving

Try switching to a Diesel engine oil in the proper grade for your truck, It will poison cats after long time especially if you burn some oil, but the dispersents can't be beat. Delo is good. I like Wix filters. Trying to get cheap oil carbon/varnish removed is tough.
