hardwire in an aux using old tape player unit.

Hey guys I have an 01 Yukon with the seperate tape player associated with the stereo as an aux. Is it possible to pull out tape player and utilize connections and wire in an aux cable for my ipod? If so how?!?!?

I believe there might be a write-up somewhere. I started to mess with it in the wife's 02 but I decided to go with a much better aftermarket unit that controlled the iPod, had USB and aux input, satellite radio, etc. I just didn't want to spend the time on a useless factory deck. Good luck with it.
