Folks:
As posted on another thread, I replaced left front axle and hub assembly on my 2008 Denali over the weekend. I noticed, when removing the axle nut, that I was able to get a fair amount of differential movement (up and down) if/when I rocked the axle. I eventually froze the hub assembly with a breaker bar between lug nuts and the ground. However, that movement made me think my 175K miles may have hammered the mounts to the differential. I've replaced engine mounts already and I do hear a slight "thud" when I disengage the trans (let off the gas a certain speeds). My thought is I probably need to replace any mounting bushings on transmission as well as differential and transfer case.
Sorry for the long post but here is my succinct question: Are there mounting bushings for all of the following and if so, has anyone replaced them?
1) Transmission
2) Front differential
3) Transfer case
