Has anyone used the jet chip before?

no. do not buy a "chip" for you truck. it is a waste of money. and from what it sounds like, your not even talking about a handheld. sounds like an ebay scam.

look into some companies that do custom efi live tuning. black bear performance has a great reputation around the forums and i am a happy customer as well. wheatly and nelson are good tuners as well. just depends on whats local/easier for you really.

do some research on those and you'll see why you should never waste you money on any ebay scam chip or even a hand held tuner

Interesting. I just posted a question about performance chips. I guess I'll be looking into this.

most of them are just resistors that dont do crap.

But if your talking about the Actual Jet company where you have to send them your ecm for them to retune your pcm. Then Yes i have used them before on my 92 4cyl Toyota Pick up. While the gain was slightly bettter, It didnt justify the need to run 93 at all times. Im sure its not like that now, but I highly recommend you try Black Bear
for tuning. I have and not regretted it since.

I agree black bear, Nelson , Wheatley, or a local Tunner that works on GMs / LS based engines. That's got a good rep.
