Here is something to check for and is an easy fix. Just take off the drivers rear wheel and drop the tank straps
For anyone that ever changes something Fuel related on a Chevy Tahoe. This line can never go under the cross member. Once it gets pinched you will have a hard time pumping gas into the tank. The line has to go over the cross member. It is just one of those things you have to ask why did an engineer design it a certain way.
This tank was just dropped by a shop because a smoke test found an evap leak on top of the gas tank for a cracked sensor. Which for the past year drove me crazy trying to find and with 1 month left before inspection time. It was time to get it looked at. For months i had black electric tape over the check engine light
I don't blame the shop. This is such a easy mistake to make. I knew what the problem was because i pinch this line last time i replaced the fuel pump when it went bad and put the tank back in with the line under the cross member.
Don't mind the rust. This was a Vermont ex-state trooper truck
