hazard lights not working correctly

i have a 95 two door tahoe, my hazard lights only work if i hold the button down and only the rear lights flash, im wondering if its my hazard light switch thats messed up or what? anyone have any ideas?

Your switch mechanical mechinism is broken inside. It is a combo unit with the turn signal handle assy and is replaced as a unit. They go for about $150 at auto stores.

i got a turn signal switch out of a 1995 s-10 blazer in a junkyard for $5 and it saved me $200.
