Thanks for the info, but the reduced towing capacity (by a large amount) eliminates any interest I might have had.
It is counter intuitive to have an HD truck that has a much lower tow capacity.

Government buys these to armor and transport people (high payload), not tow trailers. Thus towing capacity is sacrificed for higher payload rating to keep within GCWR limits

Find a '12 or '13 GMT900. Ebay was selling dozens of them recently that had come off of fleets and government plus there's a few nice ones on AutoTrader by private individuals.
